Apply for this role

We're a small team building the operational infrastructure for solo founders. We believe solo founding is different, and we've built the place for it.

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to our CEO, Julian Weisser. This is a 16–18 month role with a clear trajectory: prove yourself here, then move onto the investment team (toward a partner track) or into operations to own a function of your own. It's not a forever-CoS job. It's a launchpad.

This is a high-trust, high-visibility role: you'll work more closely with the CEO than almost anyone else on the team. You'll run projects end to end, keep the company's most important threads from dropping, and grow into owning a function of your own.

We're hiring for slope, not résumé. We want someone early in their career who is unmistakably going somewhere and who will grow with us.

What you'll do

  • Run projects end to end: from a one-line brief to a shipped result, across finance, ops, product, and people.

  • Protect the founder's time and follow-through: own the calendar, the inbox triage, meeting prep, and closing the loop on every commitment, so nothing lives or dies on someone remembering it.

  • Catch what's falling through the cracks: handle it before it becomes a problem.

  • Be the connective tissue between fundraising, media, and operations: working closely with our Head of Business Operations to keep information flowing and the operating cadence running smoothly.

Who you are

  • You can context-switch across finance, ops, product, and people without losing the thread on any of them.
  • You're comfortable operating with incomplete information and tight timelines.
  • You have a sharp instinct for when to escalate and when to just handle it.
  • You have high ownership: if something is at risk of falling through the cracks, you catch it before it does.
  • You're relentless and as passionate as we are.

This is the job for you if…

  • You want to learn a ton, fast, with real exposure to how founders operate and how investors think.
  • You want your hands in both fund operations and company operations, and the chance to help build something 1-to-100 with us.
  • No task is too small for you. You're not above the unglamorous work, and you get into the details, because that's where things actually get done.

…and not for you if

  • You want a well-defined role that stays the same week to week.
  • You need someone to tell you what the top priority is.
  • You'd rather analyze a problem than own the solution.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years in a fast-moving environment: startup, founder's office, ops, banking or consulting if you've got the slope, or you've built your own thing.

  • AI-native: you already run your work through AI by default. You'll work closely with our technical/AI lead, so you'll need to hold your own there.

  • A track record of side projects: things you built or ran because you wanted to, not because someone told you to.

  • A+ organizational skills: nothing drops.

Where this role goes

Because you'll work so closely with our founders, you'll learn, in depth, how they actually build and what they need, how investors think, and how a fund and a company get run.

After proving yourself as CoS, the path is onto the investment team (toward a partner track) or into operations to own a function outright. You'll have a front-row seat to how a firm gets built (admissions, investments, fundraising) and the option to go deep where you're strongest.

How to apply

No formal cover letter. Send us:

  1. 1.A short note on why you. Just be real.
  2. 2.Your resume, LinkedIn, or X handle.
  3. 3.A side project, or something you've built that you're particularly proud of: a Loom walking us through the why, or a short write-up. Whatever you prefer. (This is the part we care about most.)
